Wash fish fillets and shrimp with vinegar, then rinse thoroughly under cold water. This removes fishy odours and cleans the seafood.
Rinse okra and leave whole (do not chop).
Peel and devein shrimp if necessary.
In a large pot or skillet, combine:
1.5 cups water
36 g butter
Diced onion
Thyme
Maggi seasoning
Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.
Add whole okra to the boiling mixture.
